But then I remembered that at some point earlier in the comic, Karkat is chatting with John and John says something to the effect of "see you soon", and he's wearing Squiddles Lunchtop Computer Earmuffs, which he doesn't have yet.
Also as God Tier I think Vriska said he can only die if it's a heroic or just death, and since posing for battle is grounds for neither he should be fine.
I hope he's fine.
