Thanks, glad you liked it. Though I haven't been liking my skills lately. I don't improve fast enough because I actually don't enjoy coloring that much :/ Monochrome is my first art love.

I'm the opposite. I really enjoy coloring, but I'm usually so afraid to try because it takes so much effort for me to finish the lineart; I'm afraid I'll ruin the original if I mess up while coloring. I've even tried making copies of the lineart and coloring that, but print paper doesn't have the same texture - it doesn't absorb the color as well >.>

You know, I just had the idea that I could cut my drawing paper down to side and run that through the printer so I could have the lineart on "good" paper. i feel so dumb now *sigh* I'm totally going to have to try that now.

Sometimes I'm like that too, which is why I only color digitally now. It allows me to preserve original line art and saves time to boot. Yeah, printer paper is less than ideal for traditional colors. I prefer a thick somewhat grainy paper.

That would work just fine, but it would be time consuming with scissors alone. Do you remember those large cutting blocks that art classes in school had? That would be ideal and I could use one as well.

We used to have a teaching supply store around here (called Everything Educational) and they sold tons of cool stuff; everything from pencils and award certificates to paper cutters and even laminating machines. It was awesome! I was so sad when it closed down. Staples and Office Max just don't compare

Aww, I miss laminating machines too! I owe the survival of some of my oldest drawings to them. The only supply store in my area is Office Depot and their selection is pretty weak.

I'm glad you liked it For a moment I thought I may have adjusted the hues a bit too much. I usually prefer deeper slightly muted colors instead of the saturated bright ones.

Thanks The color scheme was preselected, though I tried to fine tune it to my own favorite shades.

I hope that's a good thing.
