I finally finished this. FINALLY. This took me 5 days to do because I had company staying at my house, so I didn't have much free time.This is Lilith, the Siren, from the game Borderlands. I decided to draw her since Borderlands 2 is coming out this September. She has the ability to "phasewalk" where she basically runs into another dimension and appears purple-ish to teammates. This is my artistic interpretation of her exiting phasewalk.
I'm very pleased with how this came out. Mainly the shading. And the anatomy's pretty good, despite the pose being kind of weird. Better than some static, boring pose, right?

I can't believe how long it took me to get that phasewalk effect to look right. I think it took 2-3 hours on its own... Good to know that people think it looks good. XD

Now I can't mass-produce crappy drawings like I used to. Now it's quality over quantity, when I really wish I could have both.

Well, sometimes I just go into super-focus mode and I don't even notice time passing. Then other times I get to ADHD to draw for over 30 minutes. Gotta be in the correct mindset for marathon drawings. XD

Ah, same here. I lose track of time when I'm drawing sometimes. And then when I just need to put the finishing touches I hear
"YOU AREN'T IN BED YET?! IT'S LIKE FIVE IN THE MORNING"

I'm an early bird, so I tend to have a feeling for when it's getting late. For me it's, "Wait... I had responsibilities today, didn't I? :1 "
