Tecna's too tech smart for AJ, Musa may like parties, but she's less of a motor mouth and less chaotic than Pinkie, Stella may have the fashion, but she's also a bit of a mess as well, Rarity is more mature than her... somewhat. Aisha is not THAT reckless and speed lover, and she even is more well behaved than RD, given she knows a lot of etiquette and all that, and finally Bloom can't take the lead character in this case because we're talking of a shut-in socially awkward bookworm against a social butterfly with some fashion consciousness.

Honestly, the ones shown here are more fitting:
AJ and Layla are hardworking and probably both phisically stronger than the rest. Sure, AJ doesn't dance, but if Aisha weren't a princess, I can totally see her working in a farm.
Tecna and Twily are smart to the point others just feel confused when their inteligence comes through. Specially when they try to explain themselves to the others.
Pinkie and Stella are motor mouth and prone to bring mayhem. It's one of the things I learned about season 1, along with "Do not leave Stella in the Potions Room unsupervised". You can replace Pinkie in that sentence better than Rarity, who would be better on it for sure.
Musa and RD are both the same kind of rebellious, if their clothings say something, specially with Musa rebelling his father when she decided to follow her dreams of music after he was down. Also, both were good guitar users (EG!RD, but yeah...)
Bloom and Rarity... well, believe it or not, they are not only joined by their status as "Social Butterflies", but they also had the most of the drama on them, although in Bloom's case was justified (really, that girl's life in season 1 was FUCKED UP). And both can actually get into rage fighter territory. Rarity apparently knows karate and uses it when angry, while Bloom's powers usually are stronger when she just flips the fuck up.

Thx! I tried to color each character closest to the pony their personality was most like. I think it's funny that some of the names turned out to correspond as well: Flora and Fluttershy, Aisha and AppleJack, Tecna and Twilight.

No any more: All the countries that Aisha as Layla were reverted after Nick became partner with RAI. The name change apparently was something about copyrights.
