Luna Jester and Jeb already had pretty defined personalities and appearances that go way back but Talc Mintra and Edmund posed a bit of a challenge. Max did too actually I had a three way split between kirlia abra or shedinja before I finally settled on kirlia as their pokesona.ΒHopefully I captured everyones ages and personalities in their human forms. Fun fact: I actually based Edmunds design off of my grandfather

I could see now that Talc identifies as a girl. Or does Max consider Talc a girl and Talc just rolled with it?

Talc identifies as gender neutral and the rest of the team sees them as such. They were certainly one of the harder characters to design, there's sort of a preconceived notion as to what gender neutral or nonbianary entails in most peoples eyes. But in the end I didn't want to make a hyper masculine design for Talc just so they'd read asΒ gender neutral. I went for a design that I felt represented them best, while still keeping them the most literal design wise. (though I was considering a Scottish style before I decided on full armor)
