I had mentioned this prior to someone else, but the Dizuenix Digimon were probably born from an older Digital World connected to the Space Paranoids/TRON universe. Still there's more to them, and their boss among their group is based on Disney kinda/sorta.

Ah yes, the "the enemy your facing is actually just the first and weaker in a line of enemies stacked up against you" deal. Though I do prefer it more like this here, having the next guys show up before the current one is gone, adds more drama.
