Sometimes I just like being a cuss.I kept noticing something of a debate on WtW about the usage of Dracmon, Opposumon and Psychemon in the new Xros Wars.
Basically dwindling down to the usage of Sangloupmon in particular, usually with the sharp stipulation that Dracmon Digivolves into it.
So being said cuss, I rather quickly came up with this little number.
Given that it's still Xros Wars and there are still Xros Loaders: DigiXrossing is still relevant, and more than likely the Army concept.
So Dracmon made me think that he could potentially be portrayed as a "negative" Shoutmon type. Dunno why especially, the body frame I suppose. Anyhoo, another debate was what Dracmon and the others would DigiXros into so I killed two birds with one stone in probably the less favored approach.
Ren, I think that's his name, could have an Army consisting of Xros components that are meant to parallel Shoutmon X3: Dracmon, Porkupamon and Sangloupmon.

I actually do wonder what the folks at WtW would say to this fellow...
If this actually happens, I'll burst a gut in laughter.
If not, well, you should all know me by now.

I think they should be in Xros Wars, I mean, they never made an anime appearance ever, especially Psychenmon, and he's been there since ever

I'm admittedly on the fence about it myself.
I wouldn't mind seeing more Shoutmon X series Digimon, but then I wonder what else they could do beyond it. We sort of got a hint with Shoutmon DX to an extent.
But something "different and catchy" as you said would be welcome for sure.
Even so, it wouldn't surprise me if we got an alternate X3 in that it consists of Shoutmon+Damemon+Gumdramon. The later replace Ballistamon and Dorurumon.

From what I know, Digimon can have varying Digivolution paths, so really, if regular Digivolution comes into play this time around, there really isn't anything wrong w/ him Dracmon either having a new Digivolution in place of Sangloupmon or...just having a nerfed version of Sangloupmon involved? Seems like splitting hairs to me.

They do indeed, and that's what makes Digimon stick out more in the Monster-Trainer genre. That said, you know the fans and how set in their ways they are...
It's either Dracmon Digivolves to *THE* Sangloupmon or nothing at all.
No "nerfed" versions like Cyberdramon or Greymon.

I was reading the same thread, I think, but personally I hope that Dracumon doesn't end up being the lone wolf Digimon. I think Ryouma looks more anti social than Ren, and I think he has Psychemon anyways....which is the obvious choice for the lone wolf Digimon. Mainly because it kind of is a wolf. (Though I would love to see SangLoupemon in the anime.)
Also I love how you added Porcupamon in there. (One of my favorite Digimon lines~)

One would think he would, given the obvious nature of Dracmon. On the other hand, Xros Wars has "neglected" some "mythology" of certain Digimon such as Fanglongmon. (Not that I necessarily mind this as I found the idea of "God" as a henchman amusing.)
Still, Psychemon fits it more literally as you said since he's a purple Gabumon. Though whether he Digivolves into ShadowGarurumon or Gururumon or DigiXrosses into "MetalGururumon" remains to be seen.
Oh I would like to see Sangy in the anime too. Be it Champion form or extra Army member, I'll be happy.

I think he would just evolve into Gururumon...
But...I still wonder what Dracumon will evolve into, because he does sort of have two different evolution paths...one goes into Matadrumon and the other GranDracmon...

Well, in the beginning of the Death Generals storyline, Taiki winds up in Dragon Land which is controlled by the Death General Dorbickmon.
Dorbickmon's right hand Mon is Fanglongmon, who serves as an officer of sorts commanding Dorbickmon's Dramon Army. Dorbickmon also uses Fanglongmon to DigiXros int "Darkness Mode", which just involves Dorbickmon wearing Fanglongmon as a pair of Super Centaur Pants.
The general complaint is that Fanglongmon is used as a generic henchman, and his Fifth Sovereign role was never brought up. Though considering that the ruler of the Digital World in Xros Wars is a King, the role of the Soverigns (or for that matter God/Yggdrasil and the Three Great Angels) wouldn't apply here anyway, and they'd probably just be random wild Digimon here. They sort of pulled a similar stunt in Digimon Savers with Azulongmon flying around in the sky as a random
civilian Digimon.
He probably would turn into Gururumon assuming Evolution plays a more "traditional" role though I still wonder what he'd DigiXros into. I brought up "MetalGururumon" as a pun/joke on Kiriha's MetalGreymon.

Well, Fanglongmon could have a secret bigger significance than that, since apparently some of the death generals are based off of the sovereign anyways?
Like Splashmon is apparently Baihumon or something.
Oh, well, who's to say they'll evolve at all! I almost forgot that it's xros wars.
Ohhhh, yeah. I think I got confused since he evolves into Piemon in Digimon Dusk.
Definitely is one of my favorite evolution lines.

Splashmon's Beast form does resemble Baihumon, but I think it's just an unintentional passing resemblance. I suppose fans should be thankful that Zamielmon didn't send Ebonwumon after Xros Heart.
My personal logic is that Fanglongmon was the original ruler of one of the Xones that became Dragon Land, and was inticied by Dorbickmon and the Bagura Empire's influence and joined up with them. What precious little that wound up doing in the end, lol.
Hard to say, especially since only Shoutmon and MetalGreymon were the only main Digimon to Evolve.
If the trend were to continue I would only guess Gumdramon would Evolve, though whether it would be another Brave of Gold: Goldran inspired form I can't say.

Well the ring around his tail makes me think there will be a lot of Journey to the West references in this series.
There have already been some new Digimon released that look like Sun Wukong, the priest, the water dude (the Digimon is just a Shawjinmon recolor) and the pig.

I know he's like a anti-Dorulumon, which was intentional. Hey do you think you could give me a link to the forumn? I look for it at the site but found nothing about Dracmon and the other rookies.
