Recently it was announced Hasbro acquired Saban Brands, particularly the Power Rangers, but some wondered if Digimon might be affected by the buyout as well.

Some figures suggest no, with Toei largely being responsible for international distribution and dubbing in modern times, notable with Digimon Adventure tri.'s dub. Saban still seems to own Digimon Fusion currently though, confusing matters slightly as some Adventure products were released during that time.

Regardless, that hasn't stopped fans like me from toying with the idea, and going the IDW route, the best bet is to team up Digimon with Transformers, with the later having a hand in the former's origins. Some ideas like Teletraan-1 creating the Digimon and Digital World via its connection with early 80's computer networks were tossed around for example.

I mean if there is some crossover in the end, I'd totally buy Decepticon Machinedramon and Autobot Agumon toys.

So here we have a Zone where a possible team up has occurred, notably Tai and Dan as members of S.T.A.R.S with the Autobots, and some key enemy Digimon reimagined as cassettes of Soundwave's. I also had an idea where Starscream has a Seeker army comprised of Pteranomon, MailBirdramon and Sparrowmon.
