Description This Captain cosplay won the cosplay competition for 'Best Female - Store Bought'!

A shot of Captain at the Cardiff comic con today. Here, Captain is plotting to steal the tardis for his own use.

I have also learnt that RA is actually well known here in Cardiff, I would never have guessed! Captain was very, very popular and acquired lots of new minions. More photos will hopefully be taken when I attend again tomorrow.

Hi, I was wondering how you got the color for the lenses and if you did any modifications to the goggles. Because I got mine and I can barely see where I'm going with them on ^^' . So since I only got 2 pairs I'm kind of searching for advices to get a good result.

By the way, awesome job with the whole thing

Hey there I just painted Captain's lenses with purple acrylic paint since I couldn't see through them anyway. I just look out from under them instead since they sit just above the eyes. My vision is very limited with this cosplay. But I know that the official RA team use coloured theatre gels for the lens colours although I've never looked up where they can be purchased from. That might be something to look into I wish you the best of luck with your cosplay! and Thank you very much!

Well thanks I think I can handle having a limited vision, it's not like I can actually really see through the goggles anyway. I'll go make some research for that theatre gel thingie though, could be a good alternative.

Thanks! I've been going crazy for some time now looking for the perfect goggles for my cosplay. Because, you know, nithing short of perfect for Zee Captain :------D
