Benedict Cumberbatch ... again ...My Cumby Collection is growing !
I have no intention to stop any time soon !

Benedict got this look and hair for Parade's End , a beautiful performance , I hope everybody has seen it !
As usual I used ArtRage Studio and my Wacom Intuos Tablet
In ArtRage I used the following tools :
- Pencil and airbrush for the face
- Metallic Oil Painting with knife for the background

I am hugely in admiration of your work. Everything I look for in this type of art: shows the hand of the artist and captures something that a photo cannot, all the while being strikingly accurate, giving the essence of the subject... brilliant.

It's very difficult to find the right words to answer such a wonderful comment , especially in english !
I can't thank you enough to point all the things which are important to me when it comes to create emotions through a piece of work .
I don't use Photoshop effects precisely because the result seems always too much 'clinical' and photographic to me .
I'm not a photographer . I'm a painter !
About the essence of the subject ... of course this is what I try to reach every time but it's always the tricky part !
I particularly admired Benedict's acting in Parade's End so if I found a way to give a right picture of him in this particular Series I'm very happy

Encore un trΓ¨s beau portrait mΓͺme si blond lol !! La palette de couleurs est vraiment super et le portrait est bien mis en valeur par la texture du fond.
