Something I'm making for a pixel art portfolio. The colors are temporary and will probably change dramatically for the final version. I still need to add leaves on the forground trees and a road on the bottom.I'm thinking the backgound layer needs to be darker and more saturated. I've no idea how colors change over a distance so this may be the opposite of how they're supposed to look.
Any comments and critiques welcome.

very cool. as for colour change over distances, perhaps try studying some landscape photos and comparing colours of things upclose to things farther away..see how they change
