Description
Bio: Within a containment facility atop the volcano in Isla de Mona, Mexico lies an aerial Kaiju in the restless magma. Ancient people who lived near volcanoes with sightings of similar creatures called it Rodan, the Fire Demon. Like Godzilla and Anguirus, Rodan is a prehistoric relic, a species of pterosaur that has evolved an affinity for lava and magma due to the extreme amounts of geothermal radiation. Until the KT Extinction event forced him into hibernation, he was considered the apex species of the skies and is easily the fasted one to ever take the skies. However it should be warned that he is among one of the more aggressive Kaiju according to MONARCH and is best left undisturbed.————————
Abilities/Aspects:
- Flight at speed in excess of Mach 5 (powered flight)
- Extreme flight speed results in massive sonic booms and shockwaves
- Maneuverability only tied by Megaguirus
- Can shoot a fiery “Plasma Spit” from his mouth
- Rocky and spiked chest impervious to conventional weaponry, but wings and unarmored body are quite frail; a direct hit can stun or even drop Rodan from the sky
- Immune to intense heat
- Can unleash a sonic thunderclap with wings
