All the best people have one like this [link]
Mine's the "L" version though They're the stealthy lap creepers and you don't quite know how or when they got there. She's very affectionate too.

AW, you got a little tabby princess too!
Lizzy, meet Izzy. Apparently, tabbies are known for being affectionate, as are ginger toms. No wonder they are such successful animals.

You've got that right!
She'll know you into shape. Izzy has us both wrapped around her little paw.

it's clever how cats do that with dogs, I see it so often.

Awww, we used to have a Tabby cat that looked very similar to Izzy here. She's very cute, she looks like she must be very comfortable around you if she can lie on her back and have her tummy tickled!

She gets on the bed at night and flops down next to me like this and we both go to sleep with my hand on her tummy. She's a lovely little animal.

Awww, bless, she sounds like a lovely little thing. Our current cat (she's a tortoiseshell) is very attached to my little sister and will always sneak off to steal her pillow at night.

She is ^_^ haha, tortoiseshells are supposed to be very stubborn as well as sweet.

Oh, she certainly is, especially when you want to put her in her own basket rather than your little sister's bed!

Aw! I remember a vet telling us that he had more trouble with tortoiseshells than any other kind. Ours, called Allie, was always as good as gold with him though. She was never keen on being picked up. She'd stick her legs out straight and extend her claws fully. She looked like a furry coffee table!

Twisted-chan In reply to boblea [2009-04-23 13:48:15 +0000 UTC]
Ah, Allie! Aww, she certainly mustn't have liked being picked up if she went to those lengths to avoid it! That's quite an amusing image. XD

She was like it right from being a little kitten. Her sister, a black cat with a white bib who we called Katie, was the complete opposite. If you were stood doing the washing up, for example, she'd climb up you and sit on your shoulder so she could watch what you were doing. And Izzy, the cat we have now, used to cuddle up in my arms while I was trying to work at my desk and then go to sleep for a couple of hours. I think I'm a soft touch ^_^

Awww, very affectionate and social little things. You certainly must have a bit of cat magic in you, then, if they bond with you so well!

I've never thought about it before. When our neighbours are away and I feed their shy, ginger cat Kitty, she often flops onto her back and invites me to tickle her tummy and she nuzzles against me all the time. I just remembered, the first time I ever met her she let me tickle her tummy straight away (Kitty that is, not the neighbour). Hmmmm, maybe I'm a cat whisperer!

She is a wonderful boss. I have to be on tickling duty all day long and have fresh food ready for when she needs it, especially the little crunchy biscuits she likes to have sprinkled on top of the catfood.
Most of the time she rewards me with purrs and nuzzles but sometimes she bites if she gets too excited. I don't mind though. She can do no wrong.

That's a shame I didn't like cats either. We had a very bad tempered tom cat when I was a little boy and it put me off them. But Colleen persuaded me to try them. Izzy is our third one now. They are such fascinating animals and totally lovable. And they don't need taking for walks!

That's a perfect way of describing them!
Dogs are suck-ups, they're like, "Yeahyeahyeah, I love you, yeahyeah, I loveyou loveyou loveyouloveyouloveyou yeahyeah" but cats are all, "Whatever, I don't need you."

I don't like octopuses.

They are kind of dry, hard and muscley, like rubber tyres. But quite delicate too. It was a great experience. Aw, don't you worry Vicky.
Funny and slimy and wavy with soggy heads.

Polvo! Really? Like volvo? If I had named the octopus I would have called it blubberstring or something like that. Or blubbersuckerfathead. ^_^

remembering-you In reply to boblea [2009-04-28 00:43:34 +0000 UTC]
Yes... Like volvo. If you hear it, it's a little bit different, but yeah, like volvo. If I had a dog I'd call him Restaurant, Spinach or Meatball, but in Portuguese. So he'd be Restaurante, Espinafre or AlmΓ΄ndega LOL

boblea In reply to remembering-you [2009-04-28 00:53:09 +0000 UTC]
Haha! See, those words Restaurant, Spinach and Meatball are very ordinary in English but they sound really special in Portuguese. Espinafre expecially I think haha!

Espinafre is very unique. It doesn't even sound like Portuguese!

Actually something like "Ess pi NA free" xP And the sound of this R is different in Portuguese

I get it *says ess pi NA free* just like Vicky said it except for the R part.
I haven't forgotten about your nicknames by the way, I juts want to think of a few more and then I'll give you my list!
