Don't get discouraged. It's hard to draw in someone else's art style. When I first started drawing DBZ fan art, all the characters ended up looking too much alike and they scarcely resembled Toriyama's style at all. And even now, you can recognize the characters I draw, only it's still obviously NOT Toriyama's style.
