I know it doesn't explain how she got out of the cage, just go with it!
So, I finally got round to obtaining a copy of and watching the movie. I liked it. A lot. Surprising far more than I thought I might. I'll upload a separate post with a run down of my thoughts on it later in the week.

It only seems to apply to the bars themselves. If it really had magic inhibitors, Twilight shouldn't be able to cast spells at all, which was clearly not the case. Not to mention, the bar gaps are so big, all she had to bust out was to cast buffing spells on herself then justΒ raceΒ through the gaps with Accellero. There was never any attempt by Twilight to either even try doing either teleporting or slip out through the gaps.

Funny! I'm glad you liked the movie. I liked it too, but it had way too many plotholes. I know they started working on it years ago, but that doesn't excuse them ignoring everything that happened in the show after season four. Oh well.
