"Buzzard" are just a nickname for vultures (I think?)
So buzzard is the actual name for a hawk. it's complicated

vultures are not hawks.........hawks hunt.....

I didn't say vultures were hawks, I said that "buzzard" is what people call vultures (it's not neccessarily right though)
Buzzard is the more sciency term for hawk.

how do u even get this quality of photos o   .o. mine seem gritty and cant seem to make a pic of a bird in flight have blurry wings cause of them flaping it.

BogdanBoev In reply to keirushii [2014-04-12 07:24:28 +0000 UTC]

you need high sutter speed for this size of birds at least 1/640 sec. for smaller much faster , thats why (if light outside is not good) you need bright lens, high iso and of course camera with good AF ,made this image with very nice equipment I think this is most important to have good results .There is not a talent or some special skills , you need just good camera and lens , lot of patience and good spot for flying birds
exif of this image is something like :
1/2000 sec.
ISO 640
F4
Canon 1D Mark 4
Canon 400 f2.8 USM IS first version
 AF servo

Yeah... I'm really from Poland... but in town I saw only a kestrels which hunting a pigeons. They are really good in it
Bielik, You said? I've seen him only in ZOO or on pictures or on films. Suddenly, I live on industrial area, so I couldn't see many wild birds, especially birds of prey.
