PERSONALITY

Excitable - Sarah has a habit of letting her excitement get ahead of her when she does something correctly or she's able to do something or anything really.
Distracted - When not properly focused on something Sarah's mind will wander greatly from subject to subject before possibly returning to what was supposed to be holding her attention in the first place.
Hyper Focused - However, once she is focused on something she will often tune out anything else going on around her.
Talkative - When prompted, she can become a bit of a chatterbox. Going off on tangents and sub-tangents as ideas hit her, her words taking on the very essence of the 'stream of consciousness' writing style.
Clever - Though she's not the most street smart individual, her mind is rather adapt to analyzing riddles or finding the 'thing' that doesn't fit. Usually she uses this on a sudoku or cross word puzzle if not on certain school assignments.
Accident Prone - On more than one occasion she's fallen on air or tripped over her own feet, this being the cheif cause of her skittishness and scaring at times. It also an attributing factor as to why she sometimes can be found sitting in odd places after falling or almost falling over one thing or another.
Skittish - New people and places cause her to fidget slightly and often cause her to ramble if a conversation turns her way.

BIOGRAPHY

Sarah's always been told that her lineage can be traced back to a set of French nobles that she never really tried to remember the names of despite her mother's constant comments. It's always been something she meant to actually look into but never has, partially because it took time she didn't want to spend and partially because she doesn't know much of anything about her biological father but not from lack of trying. In her younger years she tried to bring it up to her mother but her questions were often shot down after a few pestering moments or she tired herself out. When she was twelve her mother remarried to a minor lord named Eric and she gained a pair of younger siblings- Clair and Damien. As her mom seemed very happy with their dad she decided to try befriending her new step-siblings, who took to her fondly enough and the three soon become friends.
  At fourteen she was enrolled into a decently pretentious boarding school where she was a 'legacy' so to speak, many of her mother's family having gone there for some time. Though she honestly did try her best to keep out of trouble she often found herself staying back in the classroom for one thing or another that had happened, mostly attributed to her accidentally shifting her hand or another student's items into something else. The magic she was doing scared her and in an attempt to 'escape' it, she ran from the school. It wasn't her smartest choice but she wasn't exactly thinking about that when she left. It took her only four days to get home, most she didn't really remember except for something having to do with a bird.
  Her parents debated where to send her after her return, the most obvious choice for her mother was to send her to another boarding school that Eric had gone to. While they'd been deciding an invitation arrived from an 'Ever After High School' that her parents saw as a blessing, within days of receiving it she found herself at the school gate.

  During the summer after her first year, Sarah became close friends with another student she had met during the school year. With him being one of the few friends she was actually able to realize she made, she invited him over to visit during the long break. The two ended up exploring some of the wooded area surrounding Sarah's family home and were able to jokingly practice their own forms of magic. While they exploring they found what seemed to be a lock and key buried under the leaves near the edge of the property. As kids will, they decided to keep the items and make friendship necklaces. She even managed to get her step-siblings to be nice to someone she knew for a change.
On returning to the school she decided that friends would be exactly what she would make this year. Thus her second year at Ever After High began.
