Tassie has a tree called a huon pine that grows for thousands of years in water. Even when they die , they float for years and if you cut them they are still fresh inside. Convicts sent to Tasmania made boats out of this wood and managed to sail to South America to escape!This one could have been on the lake for hundreds of years. Bit of trivia almost as dry as the tree huh!
