Description
Recreated the artwork with some manipulation via photoshop. Don't have the original, so I just modified the original on here. It's easier to see the details now. This has to be one of the best drawings I've done by drawing my left hand. This is a great way for me to practice shading and proportions. I'm trying to study Fine Art and attempt to get into Academy of Art in San Francisco to strengthen my skills. I just need a lot of scholarships >_<.
I like it. I don't know about you people. And yes, I have a habit of drawing in notebooks (This was during Gov't class).- We were watching a movie

Haha that wasn't drawn with my left hand lol. I drew it with my right, looking at my left.

Very nice! I was practicing drawing my left hand a couple of days ago- except mine didn't look near this good.
Good luck getting into the Academy!

Thank you! This isn't the first time I've drawn my own hands. I've been drawing my own hand so many times I lost count. It's basically a great way to practice. I've already had art class and I'm taking them again. I kinda wish I drew it on my new sketch pad that a teacher loaned to me. Oh well. I say you should keep practicing! I have another drawing of my hand that I thought was good until I drew this, which looks more subtle and close to my skin color (if the greys were replaced with peaches and tans). Just keep practicing is all I say! If you keep practicing, there's no doubt you will become better! Oh and study some fine art books from your local library! Especially ones that try to teach you to draw the human body- They also teach you anatomy such as the bones and muscles, it's quite important to know where each of the muscles go as well as the bones to draw an accurate body part. It really helps.
Once again, thanks for the comment. It's greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Try borrowing a fine art book from your local library and study the anatomy of the human figure, it helps. If you know where the muscles and bones are, it will be even easier to draw the human body. A lot of the kids laughed at the pictures how they had naked women in them- just proves how ready they are for college lol. I started drawing with video game characters as simple as Bomberman. Now I'm able to sketch charicatures(sp?) and still show that it represents a real human being. I strongly advise you to keep practicing because after all, practice makes perfect!
Thank you for your comment, it's much appreciated.
