Good call on Alex, Pilot's actually more of a Green Lantern sort of character, though the spear does denote a dragoon of sorts. They're actually an interstellar superhero brother/sister duo. Like Power Girl and Superman I suppose.

The lighting in this whole piece is really what sets it off. You're really coming into your own as a pro, Kit!
Also "First Flight" maybe might be a good name for the comic itself or whatever I dunno
