This is an original work that I actually did WITHOUT the help of ! The only thing she helped with was showing where the shadows went on the table because I couldn't figure it out!I drew everything myself, so sorry if it looks a little weird, and I only used a reference for L's cake (didn't want to forget what it looked like!) what direction the letters i 'death note' were facing, and the 'L' on the tea cup. I hope you like it!
Painted with acrylic on plain 8 1/2in X 11 in paper. Since the scanner made it too bright looking, I fixed the color by darkening it with archsoft PhotoStudio.

oh maximum ride is about a bunch of kids who are half bird, half human, meaning they have wings. And it's this whole adventure and it AMAZIN (yeah I suck at explaining things xP). But it's by the author James Patterson. EPICNESSSSSS!

Wicked, I was right! Cha~! Oh I checked out her gallery, she paints and sculpts awesomely too! Which leads me to ask you a question...
Um, I'm sculpting an Christmas tree ornament of an electric guitar for my best friend's birthday! I bought white air-dry clay, some paint, and toothpicks to carve it with. But the thing is, I've never sculpted or painted a sculpture before! So I was wondering... do have any useful tips??? I'm sorry~! >.<
Also how did you sculpt your awesome chibi rock-lee sculpture????? I want to make something like that for her with a different character for her Christmas present.

Yeah she paints really cool since it is different from my style, and she's great at crafts (we work together, as I do the clay and she'll do other stuff like using card/posterboard and stuff).
Well for tips? I hope I can help since mine isn't air-dry clay, you have to bake it, up hopefully it'll be the same. For a guitar i'd say once you have stuff rolled out, just cut out the basic shape entirely flat. Then, you can make it so that the fret board pops out by adding another thinner strip of clay on top. Then all you need are things such as strings etc. That's usually a good way to start. As for painting, I'd say just go with it! It'll probably turn out great but if you have colors that may need to be layered (like yellow, since it is a really light color) start layering it first and then continue.
As for lee? That's harder! Actually, if I have time, I could make a tutorial on how I make my clay chibis! But for now, I usually start with a base that is flat on top and bottom and sort of tappers off towards the top. Then I make the little flat feet and start making the details on the clothes. I usually put the head on after that and then work on the hair before the face. It might take a while to get the hang of it! but, i hope this helps! ^_^
