I always wanted to do something with this stock [link] but I never had any ideas...UNTIL YESTERDAY!
This one was inspired by a Spongebob Squarepants episode haha
I can't remember the name but it's the episode that Spongebob fights Neptune after pulling the golden spatula out of a bucket of grease. It was relatively quick, about 10 hours in CS4 AND I MIGHT GET A TABLET THIS WEEK! =OOOO

Been wanting to critique this but keep forgetting. I like this cause u do a photomanip like i do, a large amount of sources and u build the entire image from the ground up, not just a picture on a background, witch shows alot of skill. Mmmm the bad first i guess. Im trying to find mistakes in this and i cant really notice any that stand out right away. Theres a small dark line going upwards from the middle of the arm witch im pretty sure isnt supposed to be there. On the pond on the left it looks like u were going for a looking down from a plateau effect which i dont think u achieved honestly, but it doesent stick out enough to rly hurt the picture at all. I can see a couple spots where u erased with a soft edged eraser. But like i said, i only noticed these after studying the picture for awhile. The picture blends so so well. The ground and the sky go together phenomenally and i just love love love that yellow color on the clouds right next to the arm. That cloud is actually wat draws my eyes wen i first look at the picture witch makes the tritan seem like its kind of in the background, but i love that. The rays of light in here are so suttle and just do wonders for the picture. The parts where land is raised look legit without a doubt witch is hard to achieve in manips like this. Vision: This piece is very impressive. I love the colours and the feel of space it actually gives you. What I really don't like and that's why I gave 4 and a half instead of 5 stars, is the lake. It seems too realistic, I mean, it's not totally attached to the rest of the piece. Other than that this piece is amazing. I love the lightning effects and the whole concept is breathtaking.
Originality: Once again, I say that there is nothing more original than your artwork and generally the manipulation itself the most original type of art, in my view. Nothing more to add here.
Technique: The technique once again is impeccable. No mistake exists here apart from what I said about the lake. Additionally, I just love the way and the position you placed the man with the cape.
Impact: The impact this piece makes is sensational. It just captivates the attention of the viewer because of the depth and the perfect choice of colours. Cheers.

Cool! Reminds me of Planet of the Apes (the very first and original movie) when they find that thumbled over lady liberty. Perhaps this is a dead planet with the only remnant of those once lived there a rest of a giant statue (for some reason I feel it to be giant at least, perhaps because it's so distant)

I really like this piece! Great colors -fading from cold ones to hot ones. And distant but monumental scene with statue and lightnings looks dangerous!
