This is the first time that a Demotivator of mine actually deserves that title. That scene was just asking for it >)Most anticlimatic battle in One Piece evur!
Dramatic build-up, serious monologue, Coby finally finding the determination to fight... and it's over in a flash. Poor Coby 
The Triforce of Courage seems... less cool to me now D:Luffy and Coby belong to Eiichiro Oda!

I agree! I mean, Oda even emphasized (sp? XD) it more by making Coby hide in fear from Akainu just a couple of chapters back. That shows how important this message was to Coby. (then again, I guess all the mental pain from "the voices disappearing" helped XD)

That makes me curious on how much Coby has matured both Hakiwise and pysically. I mean if Coby grew THAT much after just a few months I'd like to see what two years has done to the little guy!

Coby is strong...But Luffy is badass strong. Luffy holds nothing back in any of his attacks. Even tword friends, that is if he believes they're strong enough to take it...He believed Coby could take a full on hit to the face without dieing and he was right.

Coby still is "nothing" compared to the real fighters in One Piece. But he's got the right determination! Plus, since he can use haki, i can imagine he's become alot stronger by now.
Actually in thta scene, I had more the feeling that Luffy was like "I have no time for your antics right now, Ace is in danger. Maybe some other time." XD

Agreed...But Luffy probably did believe Coby could take the hit. And Your right he was more worried about saving Ace at the time to mess around not fighting at full strangth. But you could tell to Coby there was no hard feelings.

Damn, that's dissapointing (not the poster, the fight). I would have liked it if it had been a lot more climatic. I mean, they dedicate episode upin episode of Luffy fighting bad guys no one cares about, but this poor guy barely gets anything. It's very sad.

Well, I think the battle had something after all. That it'll be finished quickly was rather obvious, since Coby's best technic so far was just "Soru" and Luffy has beaten guys who knew much more than this... plus, Luffy surely doesn't want to bother with Coby's courage while his brother is in danger. It was just the entire build-up of the fight that made this quick end so damn teasing. You expect someone who just found courage to fight to put up a great show... but this arc of One Piece deals with sad truths and that courage isn't enough to win a fight is one of them :/

Yupp, he sure grew up between his first and second meeting with Luffy -w- I'm still wondering how it's possible that his face changed SO MUCH in those few months O_O Garp's fist of love maybe XD
