I've got a few requests to make a coloring tutorial!Iv never made one before so I hope it is understandable >< I have never been too great at explaining things lol (don't even know if this way of coloring is conventional... xD)
This is for PHOTOSHOP! It should apply to all versions for the most part, all versions I have used have been able to do this.
I use CS3 btw, (it's what this was drawn and colored in, as well as what the tutorial was made in)
also I use a wacom Bamboo tablet!

but like, I can't find the brush you used. I'm using cs2 right now, and I can't find the brush with that fading effect.

that's the settings for the fading brush (have it set to pen pressure and have airbrush and smoothing turned on)

but the brush still don't look like that...
is it because of the type of brush?
I'm using the one that they came with call "basic"

I usually use "Genius" tablet...
I just can't get the icon to look like that....

That probably is the prob then, it's set that way for a tablet. You can't do it with a mouse.

The way I color it is: I lock the layer and color it with the brush tool
This is if the layer is only the lines and is transparent though.
If you have the lineart mutiplyed over the colored layers (like if it has been scanned it will have the white paper background still) you should be able to color it by setting your brush tool to screen. That way it only colors the black parts of your lineart and keeps the white so when you mutiply it its only the lines ^^

btw, for some reason my photoshop (CS2)
won't let me doing pressure sensetive...
it don't do ANYTHING sensetive T_T
I did all the setting.. but it doesn't do anything!
How do I fix that?

hmm It might be your version of photoshop, or your tablet.
It should work if all your setting are right
