Save it as a TARGA file and tick alpha channel, under the render settings.

how did you make the render lookin' effect in the background? looks like you brushed it in, but I havn't been able to find any brushes that brush curves like that... that's awesome.. very nice tutorial man, love it!

I have some, my latest pack is your best bet, they are hard to find.. But they are out there! The hardest part is finding them that are editable in Photoshop..
