i'll be the first to say that i don't know much about digital art, but i can say that this is a very unique piece. it comes across to me as almost an optical illusion, a trick of the eye...i suppose it's that the 'structural' piece is on the side of the composition, hanging there. the overall tone of the piece seems to me a bit gloomy, and i feel like that goes well with the dangerous spot that hanging part is in.
I like your style!

I've been meaning to ask you ... how much of this 3D work is fractal & how much is detailed 3D, layered work? Obviously, I haven't tried this out for myself but I'm interested???? Check out my Favorites for an animated Fractal gif.... give it some time(make a coffee time) to load , but it's something i thought you'd be intersted in.

Most of my stuff is 3D in Bryce5 I only use layers for smoke and brushwork and maybe some color variations and duplications of layers to achieve variations on the render, I dont have many fractals in my

Looks damn finished and impressive man. Anymore 2D or brushing would ruin it in my view.
I likme the difference in contrast between the background and the render it self, and how darkness creates the focal point rather than light. Great job man.
