YAY Amy Pond!!Never thought I'd cosplay from a tv series ever, but here you go!
The idea to cosplay Amy went through my head a few times, especially after I coloured my hair last year and a few people suggested I looked like her or should cosplay her XD
I have a sort of love/hate for her character... she can be quite quirky and fun at times, but also I don't find her as independant thinking as previous companions. She definitely relies on being saved by The Doctor too much. But nevertheless it was fun to be her for a day! (Even got recognised as Amy Pond by some teenagers XD)

Vision:
I double-took this photograph, because you actually resemble Katherine Gillian. You remind me of the Amelia that gets trapped in the Waterfall Room and has to survive until the Doctor comes back.
Originality:
Wow! Great resources finding a location that looks so much like the episode. I can really sense the charisma, quirkiness and fighting spirit in you! You embody her!
Technique:
Lighting: I'm new to photography... However, the way the light hits you and the shadows created don't make a lot of sense to me, they just feel off somehow.
Clarity: Your image isn't clear all the way through. The contrast between the building, you, and the phone box, resolution wise, is really obvious, like the phone box is much brighter with no blurry aspect - whereas parts of the building seem out of focus.
Impact:
Your expression is so engaging, inviting the viewer in, yet keeping us at a distance, so much like Amy Pond does even from the very start of Series 5.

I appreciate the critique but let me clear up a few things for you.
This was shot in natural light with the addition of a flash and reflector by an experienced photographer. I believe they knew what they were doing when they took the photo.
I'm not sure if you've heard of 'depth of field' but a shallow depth of field is what you are seeing in this photo. That means that the background is out of focus while the subject in the foreground is in focus.
The TARDIS is equally as 'blurry' as the building in the background.
Please take care when critiquing in the future, and once again, thank you very much.

Well, I did say that I'm not that experienced with photography, so I was just commenting based on my experience getting critiques on my own photos and from what I have learned from viewing photos.
But, I will remember the depth of field! That's actually really helpful advice for me in the future!
