Description I think it's fine to post this now. This is the cover for the first issue of Gutter Magic, a five issue series written by Rich Douek, art handled by me, and colors by Donna Gregory. This is an amazing book, a world of magic and fantasy crossed with Steampunk--totally unlike anything else out there. If you're fast, you can snag a copy of the limited ashcan at the NYCC this weekend.

Thank you, Jason. I've done so much design stuff in the last year or so that I think some of it is creeping in to the comics stuff. I've really been trying to do more with guiding the eye. Panel to panel, that can be challenging--trying to tell the story in the most instantaneous, instinctual way possible, while guiding the eye, AND making it look interesting. Sequential comics work is truly a challenging medium.
