Would Mario ever mention that the person who supplies him with all that Stardust and those Mushrooms is the one controlling him? Poor guy; drugged up on all kinds of crap and he's possessed to boot? Some life, huh?
On the other hand, would being sober for three months actually be a GOOD thing? Because I'm assuming that the people controlling him have chucked out their Nintendoes and left him on the unemployment line, lining up at soup kitchens and whatnot. Damn... now I feel really sympathetic towards him.

But hey, most gamers just don't care about that... They want to see them dive off cliffs, fall into pits, and get slaughtered each and every way. Ah well, at least some of us dress up as them in their memory or take on some mannerisms of theirs.
