Description This is the basic map for BOOK ONE

I don't have land formations and geological environments in different colors yet or the landmarks up to scale and visible. But for a clear basic idea of where everything is the map is very useful.

Fiction/Fantasy/Romance/Alternative Universe

"The OFfERING" Synopsis- An unloved daughter, a broken home...and an exclusive dock village with a forgotten ancient past...

Gillia was born into a world where old superstition rules out reason and mere local tradition threatens to claim her life.

In the wake of recent plague-like events, she is chosen because of a distinct birth mark, and is now on her way to be sacrificed to a monster only known to her through childhood legends as the Lay'lio'la. She is to be only one in a long line of offerings before her, fed to the fabled creature in the nearby swamp. Her own father, Maric, guiding the boat to take her to the sacrificial docks...

And tagging along for the ride, is her darkly handsome former childhood friend, Leyland, who seems to think that now is the perfect time to reconcile.

The only option left for Gillia is to seek the truth in superstition...to swim the murky waters alone...and live long enough to get away with her life.

We traveled through the Lay’lio River, which meant Water Spirit River.
With half a day’s journey from the dock village up and half of one back, I wondered to myself how this inevitable destination would effect finding a good path on my way back out of the ancient swamp.
That is if I survived.
I stubbornly kept to my plan of escape, anyway.
I would not let go of my life so easily!
I crouched down to lean over the side of the boat, wondering absently why the water was oddly clearer than I’d ever seen it. My rippled reflection

Is map anything like what you had imagined while reading book one? I hope so anyway... Thank you I had fun with it.

I want to make a more complicated one but I needed a basic one to start with.
