I mean, I guess not, if they knew eachother before hand. Maybe he liked her, but she never knew, but when they met he had the chance to tell her.

I think the creators did that purposely just to break up Gwent and hint at the horrid Gwuncan ship.

Possiblely. I think Gwen and Duncan are better off as friends..or maybe enemies. And, Trent isn't even MAD at Gwen.
And, that's true, the good characters are either botched up or not shown again.
An example is Gwen and Courts. Courtney was always my favorite, but I thought her friendship with Gwen was rather nice, until that HORRIBLE SUNDAE EPISODE. Oh my GOSH. It made me dislike Gwen, believe it or not, and I thought they were really getting along.
And to be honest, I've always hated Duncan lol.
I wanted my daily dose of imagination, so it saddens me to see them gone. XDΒ

I love both Gwen and Courtney, but I agree. I hated that episode so much. I just simply forget that episode ever happened because those two were adorable as BFFs~
Same here. I never found him appealing. I only found him bearable around Courtney, truth be told.
