Description
Step by Step of Suffocated [link] , the thing that took me 2 weeks to get it finished lol most because of laziness and also because I got tired of it.But at last, it is finished! And I took the time to take screenshots, yay.
Not sure if it'll be helpful, but I always find it interesting to see other artists processes, and I thought this could be interesting as well.

your blue pencil sketch was dynamite, you lost a lot at the inkign stage.

I thought so too, but I'm not so good at digital inking just yet, gotta practice a lot to get the results I want. But thanks for the dynamite part!

why ink at all? i mean traditional- looking linework? it'll just die. look up james jean's work for a good alternative.
if you have to ink, i suggest that, for drawings like this, you go for a more natural. feeling brush.
try this:
1.take a splatter brush [like this one: [link]
in the brush panel (f5), make sure the spacing is tight in the 'brush tip shape' subpanel; then go to 'shape dynamics' subpanel, ster angle jitter>pen pressure, same to size jitter to (minimum size to taste); in 'transfer', opacity jitter to pen pressure; turn wet edges and airbrush on.
tru this brush for some fun times with linework.

also if you HAVE to do 'comic book' inks, i suggest you try doing them in illustrator or flash or artrage 2.

mais ou menos o processo sempre acaba mudando no meio, dependendo do meu humor e das coisas que estou testando no momento XD

What did you use to blend the colors together?

Round brush with opacity jitter and pen pressure Usually with low opacity and low flow ^^

You finished and it looks REALLY cool. I love your coloring style though I can't do it myself. :3

Aww thanks!
You just gotta keep practicing! I'm doing it, baby steps, one at a time, trying to get better!
And thanks, I'm really glad you liked it! ^_^

haha thanks! It's easier and faster to take it with the phone and mail it to myself then scanning and getting frustrated with the scan quality that doesn't let me see the light lines lol
