I decided to try to make art for my novel I'm doing for NaNoWriMo this year. It's called "Fantasie in C Minor" which is a name I definitely just pulled out of nowhere when I registered...

It is a story about a Mist Wall that may or may not be sentient and kills people by drowing them... and a story of two children who grow up and set out a on a quest that ends in tragedy. A boy and a girl. Told ten years in the future and ten years in the past it recounts the events leading up to Before and the consequences of After.

Alternate title is "The Dawn, the Dew, and the Song."

The sword is special. It reflects the sky of a different world because it is of a different world itself. Whenever it's daytime the blade reflects moonlight and vice versa.

The girl's family sigil is a crescent moon on a green field. Their colors are silver and green. Imagine the jewel in the pommel is an emerald. She gifts the boy a dagger. He gifts her an emerald necklace with a lightning bolt trapped inside.

This drawing is a combination of the two of their stories and lives.
