I've been wanting to draw something nice for Rancor-Palmach for a while now, because he keeps putting a smile on my face with his sweet comments, great headcanons and lovely accessoires for my OC Weisel.When he posted up the reference for his character's dorsal spines I couldn't help but draw this here thing.
Everyone's probably really glad when they see Weisel tag along for Rancor's patrols to check is everything at UFHA is in order.
Because not only is she benevolent, she's also fluffy and therefore a great anti-anger buddy!
I couldn't help but think of the silly pun in the title all the way through drawing this haha

I love it!
This is great! The emotions, how you incorporated all 3 spine phases (It's almost like it shows the levels of rage) and the detail, everything is just amazing! I also noticed a faint glow, ahaaaaa, looks like I was about to unleash some Godzilla style fury on someone, glad you were there! I also noticed the steam from his nose, which I also like since Rancor's body is in many ways a miniature Nuclear reactor, so he literally would blow off steam!
Speaking of Weisel, that face at the end...
So much LOL! She KNOWS Rancor cares about her and used it to keep him from a literal nuclear meltdown, clever girl! Not to mention, keeping someone from blowing up, or just helping them with stress is always a sweet thing to do...
You know I was thinking that Rancor would often refer to Weisel as "Love-bug" given her kind nature, and the fact she's a Changeling, this comic shows just why she earned the name, kindness and compassion...
This is comic strip level quality, DEFINITELY an honorable mention when all is said and done! This is so well done I can even think of dialogue between the 2, and hear it as well...
Rancor: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... *Spines start to glow a vivid red*
Weisel: Uh-oh! Ummm... Rancor...
Rancor: *Snorts steam* THAT'S IT! I'M GONNA...
Weisel: *Snuggles Rancor* Snuggle!
Rancor: Huh?! Wait, wha... Oh... I... I'm sorry Lovebug... I didn't...
Weisel: It's okay Rancor, I know you try *Grins while thinking "What would you guys do without me?"*

Weisel definitely cares deeply about him, and she knows that he might get a bit more destructive than even he seems to prefer sometimes. So better defuse him than let him do anything he might regret later. uvu
Also, defusing him his fuuuun! Weisel loves snuggles!
