He has no trouble believing in his abilities- he always went the extra mile and did well at his tasks (although, when talking to others he miiiight be overexaggerating his greatness). He wants to be the best at his trade after all. However, he is skeptical of other people’s ideas, that they are always inferior and lackluster - that they always have some flaw that make his better. His stubbornness to criticism and his independence make him a poor team player. And thanks to his big ego and high expectations of himself, he is easily ticked off by jabs from others especially when he's accused of being in the wrong (tldr. he’s easily played by others if they knew what hit home)

History:
Winter was born to the head of the house who never failed to remind Winter of his lineage - all Sigilmancers of high capacity, and Winter was expected to be one of them. He received education at an early age, was taught how to write and read, and he learned it all quickly in an effort to impress his father. His enthusiasm, intelligence and curiosity earned him frequent praises from his father and other adults, and Winter grew to love the attention and favoritism. His self worth marked by his accomplishments, Winter was eager to earn the approval of others when measured up against other kids of the house and prove that he was the best at doing literally anything, like his dad said he was and had to be. It's no wonder he ended up developing a narcissistic complex after all those years of conditioning.
