I know they call to each other even when there is so huge distance between them!P.S. Yes, it isn't Holo Caster, but such type of connection means more personally for me.

I find the longing aspect of a long-distance relationship beautiful, personally. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" is something I definitely believe.

Maybe but "short-distance" relationship is much more comfortable, so I prefer to believe that they will be together again soon))

Eventually a long-distance relationship must turn into being together in person, yes. But I am capable of enduring the time apart well, personally. hopefully Ash and Misty can too.
P.S. I love Russia! And as an American, I am deeply frustrated that our government has spread so many lies about you all.

Yes, I'm sure they can, and I hope Ash & Misty's long-distance relationship turn into being together soon!
P.S. I'm not an American, so I don't know what your government tells, but I'm happy that you are free from the influence of media and can appreciate people no matter where they are from))) Could I ask you, you love Russian literature or what gave rise to your love?

They tell us many dreadful things about Vladimir Putin, such as that he's an "imperialist" who basically is almost as bad as Adolf Hitler. They tell us that the conflict and war in Ukraine is all his fault (it isn't. Our government was the one that overthrew Ukraine's government because it was friendly to Russia).
As for why I like Russia? It's fascinated me since I was a little boy. One of the biggest things is the Orthodox Church (which I am being baptized into soon!). I love Tolstoy and Dostoevsky's writings, and also Solzhenitsyn's about the Communist times. Andrei Tarkovsky's films are awesome (my avatar is actually from his "Andrei Rublev"). The language sounds interesting and I'm learning it (slowly...hehe) Alot of the foods that I've had from there, I like (pirozhki, for example). And the Romanov family has always inspired me. Their deaths were among the worst tragedies in human history. So, those are a few of the things.

I thought you meant some stereotypes about all russian people. Policy is very delicate thing and I'd prefer not to discuss it here. But I pray the conflict in the Ukraine will end soon... It's awful... The war itself and the fact, that now we confront... A lot of my friends have relatives who live in Ukraine...
XD I'm starting to feel that it's you not me who is Russian!)) Just a joke of course)) I appreciate and love our cultural heritage, I'mΒ sad when I read some modern popular books and understand that their idea, moral and style of writing are much more simple and flat. But the classical russian literature is so depressive usually that I can't be really adore it. There are enough problems in the real life, so now more often I want some light, positive and optimistic things. But without any doubts the authors that you named are geniuses! And it's about Tarkovsky too!
If you will need some help with language, feel free to ask!))
Mmm)) Piroshki)) But it's too long to cook them... That's why pancakes (blinchiki) with something to put inside are more popular in my family))

I know you said "policy is a very delicate thing". But one important detail that I forgot to add: our government in the U.S. has enacted sanctions against Russia (banks, energy companies and some individual people) that are harming life there and making goods more expensive. That is all I wanted to mention. It is very lamentable.
I can see why some people would think Dostoevsky is depressing. But I think he is one of the authors who hits and explains the very core of "what it means to be human", both good and bad. I also admire his devotion to God. But yeah. Maybe there should be a Pokemon movie set in Russia. That'd be awesome. Β
Thank you for the language tip. I took a long break from learning Russian while I did other things. But now I am looking back into it.
by the way, kak vas zovut? Menya zovut Michael.

Not only U.S., Europe too. But don't worry I don't have any unkind feelings to people who live there because of it.
Happiness is also a part of human, not only pain, misery and finding yourself.
Pokemon as modern russian film? Awesome?! No!!! Never!!! It would be something like: "Delia wasn't married and didn't want a child, she wanted to "kill" her son but it was too late. Her family abandoned her. Now she and Ash have no money and live in some old flat in old house, where everything is dirty and ramshackle. Other children hate Ash and flout at him. His only friend is the rat that he found at scrapyard. One day he decided to run out from his home because of quarrel with his mum. Then he meets a girl who fishes because she and her 3 sisters have nothing to eat. Brock's father is an alcoholic. Ash, Misty and Brock want to earn some money and participate in pets fightings . At the end Pikachu dies, but Ash doesn't achieve anything. When he comes back, he find that his mum was ill and died too. Something bad happens with Brock and Misty. He is alone, he has no way to future, just sit and cry. The end."
I hope I didn't inspire somebody. Personally I hate such scenario, but it's awfully popular in our films. And usually it even haven't moral, just story, dark, dirty and depressive story, like there is nothing good in life. The idea of Pokemon is "never give up and follow your dream with your friends and one day it will come true". It would be vanished. It wouldn't be Pokemon anymore.
I can stimulate you)) We have a lot of russian pokeshipping fanfics that I still have no time to translate (and my english isn't good enough yet to do it easily...)
Sorry, it's secret. I don't want to be found by some people... But real name is not so important in web.

I suppose what I should have said was: a Pokemon movie with Russia as the location, not necessarily one with common Russian themes. You're right, that scenario of yours is too hopeless and miserable.
I have read a couple Pokemon fanfics. I prefer the sweeter, cuter and less explicit ones. The fluff basically.

Oh, yes, then I agree with you)) But for the beginning they at least should add new language to the list.
Scenario isn't mine, it is what I have in cinema with title "new russian film"(((
I have several such fanfics too))

Very nice. I have written some fanfictions too over the years but none for Pokemon. I am currently working on one for Edward Scissorhands, if you've seen that.

I knew about this film, but I didn't watch it. I don't like this genre. Tastes differ... But I hope fans of the Edward Scissorhands will find it interesting))) Let you inspiration))
Problem "none for Pokemon" is very easy to fix

I understand you! The actual reason that the idea of this art came to my mind is the fact that I had such experience too. With less distance than in your case, with a short periods of respite but during loooong 3 years... So I respect you for the overcoming this "challenge"!

How the world of your MMORPG looks like?

Do they fight against monsters there as I understand by screenshots? Looks like Ash finally will have a chance to throw a rock to "pokemon" and do not look funny as at the first episodes)) But I think it would be interesting for them to be like their pokemons)) It could be an interesting story!
