Yup, that's it!So I cleaned up the last sketch I uploaded and, indeed, turned it into a more polished and finished illustration - thus, I present you: Showtime hit series 'Dexter's pinup!
Although I'm not completely satisfied with the outcome I guess I'll just leave it like this for now, but I'll most probably go back to it at some point.
Oh, and did I mention this was completely done with a crappy mouse? God, I'm so buying a tablet (my fingers hurt!).

Well, after all, Dexter is one of my favorite series to watch, so interpreting the whole concept wasn't that hard for me; looking back at this now, there's probably hundreds of things I'd change or do differently (better, I hope!), but it's been really cool to see all the praise it's been getting since I uploaded the piece in 2007.

Seriously. You need a tablet. I've had one for a couple of years and I couldn't go back without going crazy at this point. The color job looks great though!

Yup, I traced it (with the pen tool thingy on Photoshop) and colored it with my ol' mouse - it stole a great deal of time but I think it was completely worth it! Plus I had so much fun doing this (I love this show!!!).

I've only started playing with the pen tool recently so I'm still working on getting some speed going with it. I don't use it for much honestly. I clean up line art with it from time to time but that's about it. I think that's the thing with digital coloring is how much time it can steal away without you knowing it. I did this one Legend of Zelda drawing that took more hours than I like to think about to color. Was fun though.
