Once you get the hang of this human stuff, it's quite addictive.

Next up in my Human and HTF series is Sam the tasmanian devil, created by Lauriepooh (HTF) / Laurensart (DA). He's one of those typical classic Net Friends with an easily recognizable appearance AND a vivid personality. Well, at least in my mind... Considering we haven't seen this guy very often ever since the tournament he was in ended, my interpretation might be completely wrong. Allow me to explain; if Sam's creator feels it's inadequate, I'll get rid of this piece.

In Sam I always saw this adventurous guy, exploring woods and mountaintrails, carrying a backpack with equipment he might need on his way-- including (of course) an encyclopedia on the area's flora and fauna. A boy scout, if you wish, but not one of those lame ones. This kid is tough, independent, kind-hearted and possibly successful as a leader in the future.

The hat was just inevitable, and there's also a similarity between human Sam's hair and HTF Sam's whiskers. Backpack and book should make sense if you've read the previous paragraph. In accordance to this personality, I also gave him zippered trekking trousers and a T-shirt, both in neutral, natural colours. Sam probably shouldn't be making long trips on his bare feet, but let's just assume he dropped his shoes somewhere nearby for this particular moment. After all, almost anyone who loves to be outside appreciates the feeling of grass between their toes. For the environment, an Australian mountain backdrop would have been more logical, but I felt like drawing green stuff (partially because Shelly had a sand-ish theme already). I'll take the easy way out and say he's on vacation. Oh, and there's a mushroom in the middle. I wonder why.
