Description
This is the first full digital painting I've done, background and all, in over 8 years. It was a wonderful adventure experimenting with style and learning as I go, as well as creating these two lovely gryphons of mine based on my real parrots, Tiki (bottom), a male 8-year-old Green Cheek Conure, and Trillia (top), a female (?) 5-month-old Quaker Parrot. I want to properly establish these two as gryphons some time with gryphon-esque edits to their names and all, but for now, here they are, clambering in the treetops, collecting precious things.

I'm most excited about this piece because I painted it at 18x24 to be a poster for the bird room. :>
