These are two characters of mine I haven't drawn in a long time. Balios is the paint and Xanthos the bay. They are full brothers, both paints but Xanthos was born without any white save a small star(which you can't see in that picture).I am not going to pretend this is my best work, but it's a kind of cutesy picture for the time being while I work on something better.

Actually Balios and Xanthos are the horses of Achilles. a part of greek mythology. not your characters. maybe your personal take on them. but they dont belong to you. but i guess its not that big a deal. good drawing otherwise. love the pose, its very cute, playfull and loving.

Actually, they are my characters and they do belong to me. I named them after greek mythology characters. If I create a character named steve, is he not mine because there is another steve out there somewhere? Unless I am mistaken no one owns the copyrights to the names used in greek mythology, it's like any other name out there, free to use.

Aww, they remind me of a horse I know called Troy, who, like the brothers, seems to think he's a colt still. He's kinda mad actually...good job his field mate, Ekky is wise and sensible!

yah I've seen horses playing like this, usually foals, but these guys like to pretend they are still foals.
