Thanks for your comments on my art!! Trust me I can totally relate to your longings for EC pre-code art/comics. Seems like comic books these days all try so hard to be "smart" or "cool" that they forget how to just be "fun"! They don't make em like they used to.

Oh! Wally Wood! He was one of my best illustrator when I was a kiddo. If I draw today, it's in big part because of him and his friends from ''Tales from the Crypt''! That's an impressive one, I'm in love with it! BravoX2!!

Man I LOVE EC!!! This is so cool, the colours and the alien XD messy headshot methinks is gonna happen soon..but it would be good to see more monster bashing, where the humans are the ones pasting the uglies around!!! I'd love to see a cool poster version of "Earth Attacks", where humans are laying waste to suburban family life on mars!

Wally Wood committed suicide in 1982. But his work for E.C. Comics from 1950-1955 proved him to be the greatest illustrator of science fiction comic books that ever lived.

Something interesting about this pic versus a lot of your other work, here the "monster" is not the aggressor. In fact, he (or is that a girl?) is about to become the victim. Nice juxtaposition.

Haha, thanks! At first I thought, what's she talking about, does she think I draw too many girls and not enough guys or something? And then I realized, "Oh, well, I guess I tend to think of most of my monster characters as male..." (except for the female vampires and witches of course) so maybe in my mind the male/female balance is more evenly set than it seems to most other people!
