When you're young, the world will tell you that you dream too big. That sort of pessimistic lie is just a minor setback.

I am working on a few children's books. Not sure if it's my thing, though. Reproducing the same characters again and again is torture for me.

Oh, that's quite a clever piece, I love the idea of a monster friend. It's also quite funny to see those two birds perched atop the monster's shoulder (they're probably just there along for the ride!)
And indeed, quite a minor setback. Maybe they can't go boating, but they can still surely have fun and play in the puddle!

This is wonderful. I absolutely love the colours, and the idea...i think every little kid has some sort of monster as a best friend. As for the people telling you that you dream too big as a child...i guess it's up to us to not do that...dreaming big is the only way forwards...without dreams, we'd be nowhere, never dreaming of a better future, and without those dreams we'd never try. I heard a quote once from a film where the guy talks about how you give up something, and another thing, until you just shove everything down, clamp it in until it changes and festers, and you're riddled with disease, and full of lies... you have to let your dreams be known, and never compromise for them, because without dreams, we're really nothing. Great art piece
