The first real etch-a-sketch I ever created. Made this years ago and only showed it to friends & party guests at my apartment. I started this one at Yankee Stadium in the top left and worked my way out from there. This etch looks a lot less realistic than my other cityscapes because it was done from memory. This is basically a recreation of what you see driving into and taking the train into NYC from the North.Related content

This is amazing! I am not able to fathom how much time this must have taken. And, yet, with an Etch-a-Sketch were all of these intricate details created.

That was the first etch-a-sketch I did since I was a kid.. It probably took between 5-6 hours over the course of a 2-3 days. Some of the cityscapes I've done can take 20 hours or more.

I wish I was able to create an etch-a-sketch like that, but I normally sketch my ideas down on paper.
It certainly takes a lot of time to draw a picture onto an etch-a-sketch.
