Description The Italian dub of the Powerpuff Girls is called "Le Superchicche." Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are respectively named Lolly, Dolly and Molly. Even though the B theme isn't used, it's still pretty cute. I wonder what Bunny and Bullet were named...?

I spent a while searching for a dub where Blossom's name means something other than flower (Danish had Blomst, Chinese had Hua Hua). Finnish had Papu, which apparently means bean, but then I found the Italian dub a little after that.

Hmmm, I've tried searching youtube for "Le Superchicche," but it's kind of hard to find that specific episode. There should be other sources for videos like Dailymotion and Putfile.

I'm Italian but I still like their original names more.

Well the original names were the ones we heard first, so they're generally what we accepted and got attached to. But the Italian names are still good changes.

I'm curious. What were the Rowdyruff Boys' Italian names?

Now that I think about it, instead of using the "B Theme", they created their OWN motif! I mean there ARE other names that rhyme; such as Holly.

There's also Polly. I can actually see that name being used for Bunny.

Me too. Maybe the dubbers didn't have enough cute Italian words/names that started with B, so this was a good change.

Back in the day someone drew "The Afro Puff Girls" and I proposed calling them "Sassi, Classi & Brassi". They was brought into existance by "Proffessor Dr. Grand Master Funkalisious Flava Flash" .

Yeah, sometimes foreign names can sound strange. Also, it can be funny when it means something else in another language.
