I'm not going to lie, I think Rotor was one of the few characters that got better in the reboot era.
Everyone else was a bit dumbed down.
That's my opinion though.

No, I agree about Rotor. Physically, he was definitely more ripped than his pre-reboot counterpart. Personality-wise, he was more aggressive, less whiny.
Everyone else got simplified in my opinion which ,given what happened outside of the comics, was no surprise to me. They were like little semi-clean slates.

ok then, but I feel that the game characters got it the worst.
The freedom (despite being simplified) were one of the better aspects of the reboot.

As for the game characters, I feel like that's Sega's fault. The storylines in the games seem really inconsistent. I've just always been a Freedom Fighters fan.
