You like sad books?
Try 'the prince of mist' from Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
It is beautiful, trust me.

Pff, nope. "Sad" books and "romantic" books are the worst to me. Just completely boring, i don't even dare to look at them. The only books i actually have enjoyed reading so far have been video game based novels, one specific book series, which is probably aimed for smaller children but it was very involving (like you literally had to phone numbers to call and websites to visit, letters aso. all included with the books)
I haaate reading. Never really enjoyed it, cause it's just a waste of time to me

I actually love reading, and that says something having dyslectia XD
But everybody has his own taste, you probably like to game more than i do.
(and i usually only play mobile games or pokemon when i got the time XD)

naaaaah, not really a gamer either xD i mean, i do like some games, but i lose interest pretty fast. i think, so far i actually only have finished three games?? ever???? Okay, seriously. There are only three games i can think of right now that i finished <.< ............ oh my.... i mean, there are probably more, but i can'T think of any more right now. Aaaanyways yeah. I'm also REAALLY bad at video games. I always play on easy so i don't die all the time. But gaming, just like reading, is kind of a waste of time i could be spending on drawing. Which is why i hate getting into games. Wasting so much precious time :'D

A well, everyone has its own opinions. ^^
I am reading a couple of books right now for video's i am going to make, so in that way it is not a total waste right?
And i play otome games to write reviews on them on the amino app (i get featured a lot if you like to know XD )
But i also still do both for fun, reading books in the evening can be super relaxing.
And playing games for me is sometimes to get rid of anger (like playing bayonetta for an instence).
But mostly for fun ofcouse, i would not play games like Nekopara or fnaf to do that.

i'm here like- what's otome, what's amino, what's nekopara- what is life! Β I know bayonetta tho! And i know that i will never dare to lay my hands on that cause i know exactly that i would never be able to beat that!
And yeah, i mean, my mother reads a lot, my sister too and yeah, sure it's a hobby, but for me personally, my hobby and life is drawing. It's the only thing i really enjoy doing (plus crafting, but i almost never got the materials haha oh well) so i spend all the time i got on drawing. I get up, do the stuff i gotta do for the day, get me some tea and draw for the entire day till 3 am. Sleep a few hours and repeat. Everyday only drawing <3Β

Otome games are like games for girls like Mystic messenger, if you heared from it.
(it took the internet by storm and got super popular, but as fast as it came, that fast was it over XD)
Amino is an app on the phone where you can talk to people from the same fandom.
I think you will like it as well, knowing that you are a creepypasta and fnaf fan. ^^
Nekopara is a visual novel on steam and it is super cute. It is about Cat girls (Neko's).
I draw as well, but not as much as u used to do.
I still have school and my other hobby's and i try to put as much time in each of them.
But i am happy if i got time to draw, which is why inktober is really a challenge to do if you don't have much.
(but i still try tho XD)

Ahh, yeah, i've seen pics of mystic messenger going around on tumblr
amino sounds horrible cause all fandoms i'm in are horrible :'D
and omg- cat girls and visual novels. that brings me traumatic flashbacks to the first and last visual novel i chose to dive into which ended with fucking the cute catgirl you rescued! amazing
And yeah. I mean, i'd spend time on my other hobbies as well! But my problem here is that i don't wanna do the stuff alone or can't do it here, or just physically can't. I am trained in parcour and i love swimming, but i don't wanna parcour alone, cause i don't wanna die and swimming, as much as i love it and all, my skin reacts badly to being in contact with water too long, i always gotta use a lot of lotion or else my skin would just kind of dissolve in water haaah, fml I also used to go riding, but it's so expansive and i don't have a car to get there and the list goes on. i wish i had my life in control .3.

Yea i agree, the cp fandom has issues XD
And there are many crazy people in the fandom as well...
Like what we had with the Waukersha stabbing victem...
I got really upset when hearing that that was done just to please Slenderman...
That kinda sucks, not being able to swim for a longer time...
It must be hard around summer i gues.
In South France it is nice to have a pool nearby, but not being able to swim for a longer time must be awfull...

i'm not even in the creepypasta fandom
the only fandoms i'm actually in are the jekyll and hyde and the homestuck fandom, at least those are the only fandoms where i can get along with the people without wanting to kill myself
in two years i've been swimming once, and that wasn't even in summer haha

Pumpkin-Queeny In reply to Bugbreach [2017-01-03 19:28:06 +0000 UTC]
O sorry, i just asumed you did becouse of your page:
'Major Fandoms: Homestuck, Creepypasta, Jekyll and Hyde'
(maybe you should edit it? XD )
It isn't that bad right? You are not actually going to kill yourself over a fandom right?
Like, i know that the fnaf fandom is shit and all but every fandom has it's points where you think that it is shitty...
Not being mean just realistic...
But if you are in the jekyll and hyde fandom, have you read the book?
(you sayed that you don't like reading but i just wanted to ask...)
If so, do you recomend it?
(Or do you mean the tv series , sorry if i got it wrong XD)

Nah, i just write i'm in those fandoms so that people know what i know and like, but yeah, i don't actually AM active in the fandoms, but i see everything the fandoms do :'D (and yeah no, i aint gonna kill myself because of that stuff, there are better reasons for killing ma sorry ass)
And jekyll and hyde, DUUUDE i read the book in english, i read the book in german, i watched every movie Β that has jekyll and hyde in it that i could find, i watched the series, i watched two english and one german musical of it (though the german version is hooorrible omg), i got the art book to a jekyll and hyde version which is now a comic i'm following aaand i cosplayed hyde and a friend of mine is cosplaying Jekyll for me. I also got too many jekyll and hyde buttons everywhere xDΒ
i even got a really horrible jekyll and hyde game- and played the NES jekyll and hyde game. I am OBSESSED with it Just OOHHH yeah, i know Β thiiinggs!
older stories are far more interesting, like jekyll and hyde, beowulf and hamlet are my favorite classics, if you can count them as classics, cause shockingly whenever i mention them people only know hamlet

If you really like it, OUAT season 6 has Jekyll and Hyde in it for a couple of episodes.
Maybe you want to try it out? (the series is good ^^)
Older books have indeed nicer stories.
I am reading Inferno from Dante Alighieri at the moment.
It is hard becouse it is writen in rymes but is is nice ^^
But if the storie is indeed as good as you say, i should get myself the book ^^

oh yeah, my substitute teacher told me about it as well, i thiink i watched it- i am not sure because i know that i just hated the show for what they did to captain hook :'DΒ
also something i really enjoyed was the original alice in wonderland, like the original original, the story behind alice in wonderland. I had a book which was some sort of biography and story all in one, reeaaaly weird but interesting!

Yea true that, at least he has more background than most characters.
(but truth be told, regina and rumple also have a huge background.)
And the stories are getting a bit less every season...
(messing up my ships and making a mess of the fairy tales T.T)
But the first few seasons are still likable ^^
That sounds cool, was it the official book from lewis caroll?
I haven't read it yet, but is it good?

Yush! I hope you'll enjoy them as much as i did! Also an amazing book which i love (but never read till the end, cause i know how it ends and i don't want my heart to suffer) Grendel by John Gardner. In case you don't know it, it's basically Beowulf (almost wrote baewulf whoops) but from Grendels point of view, and it's kinda philosophical (?).......... Β i just really like it cause i can relate to grendel so well, i love it

Sounds good but then i sould first read Beowulf to understand the story better (i gues).
Also, maybe 'letter for the king' is also a nice book for you to read.
It is originaly a dutch book but it is translated in english.
(it even has its own movie XD)
The storie is great, it is set in the middel ages btw.
It is an old book but not as old as the ones you read.
