great concept. the silhouette is very good, and I like how the title leads me not only stright to the fact that it's building and that's progress, but also to that airplane in the sky, going forward, making it's own progress in the sunset skyes.

I think I can notice the dust spots that billsabub was talking about. They aren't too bad...a tad annoying yes, but you're pictures will live

I see the specks in the bottom part (where it's all black). In the area about 1-2cm from the border, and about 1-6.5cm from the left border

ok, new idea. i did check as mentioned above inside the camera and found nothing, but a spot on the lens, so that could have been it. but, i've checked other pics and they're not in them. i think it's some weird reflection off of something really small, which produces those spots. it's not totally crazy since there are the three larger reflective thingies towards the center/right on the bottom. I remember seeing those so I know they are actually there, not dust. Anyways, either way, I hope that is the last I have seen of the dreaded dust specs!

Dust is the bane of our existence, that's for sure.
I know in your note that you said that you can't see the dust. You'll have to change the angle that you're looking, usually more from the side. And a very, very small speck is actually quite huge to the sensor in terms of size ratio.
If you've never changed the lens, then either the dust has always been there or it's on the lens (front, back or both). Hard to tell by looking at the photo.

Oh this is lovely!
The tones are just awesome, and the airplane's vapour trail really adds a lot of interest to the otherwise negative space.
Love that the buildings and crane are just shadows, but certainly distinguishable.
