Description
It must be the internets influence, but I've never really done a lot of fan-comics for Bethesda games before. I did do some fanart waaaay back when when I was playing Daggerfall with a picture of each of the different elves but that was it. No, I also did a picture of my elf from Morrowind too come to think of it.Anywho, this is the first of a series of comics I'll be doing about Skyrim and my Bosmer, Narwen's, misadventures. This happened after she escaped Cidhna mines and was rewarded with the "Armor of the Old Gods." It is the absolute worst idea of armor ever, but it is a decent armor set if, like Narwen, you shun melee combat. My reaction was the same as Lydia's, but I think Narwen likes it. She's so vain.
Most of these are going to be warm-up sketches/layouts for me so they might be more messy. The cleaner ones I'll post here, the sketches, WIPs, etc, will be put on my tumblr .

lol
I always wonder that in games, even Dragon Age is guilty of it - abdomen exposed and a bikini top breastplate...great protection ..I think not lol
It is a horrible armour though..oh yay a Stags head for a helmet....great...off to a merchant with it then ^^
Love the Dark Brotherhood armour though

Oh, it's only eye candy for the guys. That armor doesn't even protect against the elements! XD My only consolation is that the male version of the armor isn't much better. Though the guys get the stags head; girls get more feathers and cornrolls. XD
Narwen's not going to do the Dark Brotherhood, but I'll have a character who does. I tend to play paladin-types my first playthrough. I just feel so bad killing people, even if they deserve it! XD

yup..us girl gamers are forgotten..as usual lol I don't mind the killing..well if the character was nice about something then I do feel bad, not had that in Skyrim though, did feel that a few times in Oblivion - like during the cleansing of the Cheydinhal DB sanctuary or the assassination of the Draconis family..felt bad about that lol
I always seem to end up playing the assassin type characters XD

Assassin type characters can be fun! I'm just too nice, even in game life. XD My mom was telling me on the phone I needed to be more evil. It's pretty sad when your mother tells you that. XD
Though Skyrim seems to have a lot more characters that are well-rounded than Oblivion. I like that about this game. It's difficult to choose between the Stormcloaks and the Imperials, and that's a plus for me.

too true, assassins are fun XD I always try to be nice ^^ but in games..yeah I can be pretty wrathful, actually killed a woman in markarth because she sent some thugs after me - why?...I do not know, apparently I stole something which I don't remember doing...that actually happens alot in that game lol too much going on to remember XD
I didn't want to side with either..didn't like the Imperials seeing as they tried to chop my dark elf Leif's head off (vengeful like that lol) and don't like the Stormcloaks because Ulfric is a racist B...I hate politics XD
lol

I remember those thugs! Someone sent thugs after me too! Though, funny story, the thugs were there when I killed a dragon and were all awed at my prowess. I thought someone in the college (where I was at) sent for them to help them kill the dragon, and then afterwards the thugs tried to kill me. I was like, "Really? You just saw what I did. You really want to mess with me now?" It was hilarious.
Oh yeah, Ulfric is so racist. But I do want to see what happens in that part of the quest eventually so I suppose I'll pick a side. I'm waiting until later because I'm afraid it'll be like what happened to me in New Vegas: once I chose a side the other side started sending assassins after me all the time. And these assassins were pretty deadly, even when I had a super mutant on my side. XD

lol, it is funny when enemies just stand there..doing nothing, I've had that a few times, battle music going and I'm left wondering '..so where are the enemies?..is it these guys?...kill and find out I guess' XD
I haven't had any Stormcloaks after me (that I know of anyway) they just don't like Leif very much XD

My elf functions as a cross between a spellsword and a nightblade: she uses magic a lot and sneaks around a lot until it's dragon killing time.
I haven't gotten to the Werewolf part in the game yet. Too busy at the College.

It's a decent armor set, especially if you rely on magic/archery. But to call that armor was kind of pointless. It doesn't even protect against the elements! XD

I must admit I love that armor on women. Cheesy yeah I know. I do wish there was a way to join that faction. Later mods maybe.
All their weapons are pretty cool looking also.
As far as a Critique. Color the image please!

And I'll see if I can color it when I have time. Probably after the holidays.

pfff... everyone knows that in RPG the less the body is cover, the higher the armor values are (for female, at least). It's logic: foes get distracted.
What I don'tn understand is why this doesn't work for men also... probably all foes are straight men and lesbians...

true that, women, Less armor is proportional to how much better the armor is!

My only consolation is that the male version of the armor isn't much better.
And yes, in video game land, all the foes are straight men who are so unused to women in fur bikinis that it baffles them every single time.

I don'tn get why everyone exploits the M/M romance option, then, if avaible...
(Seriously... I have seen almost more slash in videogames than in Harry Potter fandoms... )

Probably because most of what you see here on DA is female artists who like that kind of thing. I don't know what the people who aren't interested in it do; whether they just don't make art about it or they post elsewhere.
Aaaand, when I was heavy into the Gundam Wing fandom, there was lots of slash. Lots. Tons. More than the regular romances (though to be honest, the girls in that show weren't as well thought out as the guys).
