The haziness is actually rather nice... reminds me of dusk... when things look just like that... fading in and out of light and dark and gray... and yet the sky is still sharp, and in this case, full of color

Now THIS is amazing...
while your previous sunset photo lacked something, this photo is complete...I'd say that's because you have some contrast of distance...while the sunset and clouds are very far away, the boy and the mother are right there...It gives it a very epic feel...
Furthermore, the sky is more exciting here too, the reds and blues and yellows are very strong
I also like the sharpness...there's a lot of detail everywhere...the clouds and the water...very crisp...whereas the previous sunset photo was kinda blurred because there were just light clouds and distant water
