Hallo~ I was making this color swatch ref for myself, but I thought to release a version to dA as well. :> Sharing is caring. First are hairs, then some metals, and some fabrics, and then skintones. I didn't do just every single color, obviously, just some that I have more trouble with or often forget how to do.This is just a skeletal reference, meaning you should not rely JUST on these colors. They are more so the foundation colors, and should be enhanced with some other colors and texturing, of course. :> I hope it's helpful. <3

I just want to say this is my favorite thing to use when it comes to my art and I was wondering if you have any tips for creating your own skin and hair color like on how I should choose the shading color and line art coloring! because as much as I love this it doesn't always have the color I am looking forΒ

My best advice would be to study a bit of color theory, or try to make your "Shading" with a different hue than you usually would (like different blues and purples.) Β You can also use real photos for example, and then just play around with editing the colors in photoshop until you find something that really strkes your fancy, and use it as a makeshift palette until you feel comfortable enough to work with your own choices. :3 Β Colorpicking is a great device for beginners in color theory, but don't be afraid to try weird things! Β Sometimes the weirdest things are the most effective when it comes to coloring. Β Β
